A Local Practice. A Personal Stake.

Working closely with a local medical practice gives me a firsthand view of the day-to-day realities healthcare teams face, from patient flow and scheduling pressure to the frustration caused when technology slows everything down.

My wife works in that environment, which keeps my approach grounded in what actually helps practices run more smoothly instead of chasing tools or trends that don’t improve real-world workflows. When IT works quietly in the background, staff can focus on patients instead of systems, and that’s always the goal.

Who You’re Working With – Long Island Healthcare IT Support

When you work with TidalPath, you’re not handed off to a helpdesk or a rotating account manager. You’re working directly with me.

My name is Brian Marino. I’m the owner and lead IT consultant behind TidalPath, a Long Island–based healthcare IT and managed services provider supporting small medical practices across Nassau County and Suffolk County.

I’m personally responsible for how your systems are designed, secured, and supported and for making sure nothing critical falls through the cracks. That level of accountability matters in healthcare, and it matters to me.

Long Island Roots, Healthcare Experience

I grew up in Massapequa and now live in Babylon with my wife, where we’re raising our two young kids. We’re active, proud members of the local community.

TidalPath is a local Long Island business not a remote MSP or an outsourced operation.

I work with medical practices throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, supporting offices that want reliable IT support, strong security, and fewer day-to-day technology distractions.

Healthcare has always been close to home for me. Several members of my family have worked, and continue to work in healthcare environments, which has shaped how I think about patient privacy, uptime, and operational stress. When IT isn’t stable, the impact is immediate and real.

Experience That Translates to Medical Practices

I bring over 20 years of hands-on healthcare IT experience, including long-term work within a major healthcare organization (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Catholic Health Services), where system reliability, data protection, and process discipline are non-negotiable.

That background matters when supporting Long Island medical offices that don’t have internal IT staff but still need:

  • Fewer interruptions during clinic hours caused by slow systems, Wi-Fi drops, or login issues
  • Confidence that email, files, and patient-related data are secured properly, not “we think it’s fine”
  • Clear answers when someone asks, “Is this HIPAA-safe?” instead of guesswork or finger-pointing
  • One accountable person to call when something breaks, not a ticket black hole

TidalPath applies enterprise-level discipline in a way that actually fits small and mid-sized healthcare practices.

Why TidalPath Exists

I started TidalPath after seeing the same issues repeatedly in small medical offices across Long Island:

  • Reactive IT support instead of proactive management
  • Security added only after something goes wrong
  • Confusing recommendations and unpredictable costs
  • No clear point of accountability

Practices don’t need more vendors or more tools. They need managed IT support that’s predictable, secure, and easy to live with. That’s exactly what TidalPath provides.

Close to the Work We Support

My wife works in a local medical practice, which gives me a firsthand view of the day-to-day realities healthcare teams deal with, from patient flow and scheduling pressure to the frustration that comes when technology slows everything down.

That proximity keeps my approach grounded in what actually helps practices run more smoothly, rather than chasing tools or trends that don’t improve real-world workflows. When IT works quietly in the background, staff can focus on patients instead of systems, and that’s always the goal.

See Where Your Practice Stands

I built the PracticeReady Assessment to cover the same areas I review when walking into any new practice. If you want to know where the gaps are before we ever talk, start there.

How I Support Healthcare Practices in Nassau & Suffolk County

I work primarily with small healthcare offices throughout Nassau and Suffolk County that want:

  • Proactive IT support that prevents issues instead of reacting after something breaks
  • Email and cloud security configured properly across Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, not half-set or assumed
  • Fewer interruptions during clinic hours and less time spent chasing IT problems
  • A local Long Island IT partner who understands how healthcare offices actually operate

I stay directly involved and don’t outsource accountability. The goal is simple: stable systems, clear expectations, and support that doesn’t get in the way of patient care.
